2 year old good sleeper turned horrible pls help!
« on: July 07, 2014, 12:22:40 pm »
My 27 month old dd has been a great sleeper other than phases of ew. This past week things have gone out the window. I know she is ot and still needs to get her 2yr molars.
Our easy for months has been
W 6/630
Nap 130-3/330
Bed 730

I would say once a week we would get a nap fight but I would ap in car.
We have been at my parents summer home at the lake when everything went off track. Usually she sleeps huge nights there due to all the swimming etc.
Now we are gettin 515 wake ups no naps or fighting for an hour and fighting bt which never happens!Due to being ot she has turned from a sweet well behaved child to a little devils

Yesterday
W 510
Nap 1235-215
Bed 710
Nw 1015
Nw 1230
Ew 515 resettles till 545

What should I do? Thank you

Have you ever tried capping her nap and possibly moving it a bit later? It does sound like very early stages of the 1-0 transition. This is quite a slow transition in my experience, so a bit of a tweak on nap time and length may help keep the nap for some months yet, but this may solve the "day sleep leading to less night sleep" issues.

Have you read this link? I found it really helpful:
