6 month old Screaming At NapTime - Milestone related?
« on: July 09, 2014, 15:02:17 pm »
My LO used to be so easy to put down for naps.

She started to sit up on July 4th by herself and ever since then she has been throwing horrible tantrums when its time for her to take a nap. Normally I put on her music, rock her till shes drowsy and then lay her in her crib and shes out.

Now she thrashes around cries the entire time and when i put her down she thrashes around in her crib and will not go to sleep. Which makes her so overtired. This has been happening since she started to sit up on her own. Could there be a correlation? Any advice?

Ive been relentless with PU/PD and it just seems to make her angrier.

EASY Schedule:

7:30 E
7:45 - 8:30 A
8:30 - rice cereal
8:45-9:30 A
9:30 - 11:00 S
11:30 E
11:45-2:00 A
2:00 - 3:00 S
3:00 - E
3:15-5:00 A
5:00 - Rice Cereal
6:30 E and then sleep

Have you tried increasing her A by 15min?  I usually had to increase A time during a developmental leap by 15-30min so LO wouldnt fight naps.
