6 week EASY help. Schedule included.
« on: July 14, 2014, 00:25:36 am »
I am having the hardest time finishing my day on EASY! I get so confused with the last catnap & bedtime. If I get a catnap in that only lasts 45 minutes but am following a 3 hour eating schedule it seems there is too much awake time until her next feed & bedtime. What am I doing wrong? My LO is 6 weeks old & FF. Here is today's schedule to give you an idea.

E-9:15am
A-9:30am
S-10:15am (tried to get her down, she naps in her bouncy & was constantly waking so I would start bouncing & she would nod off. This continued until her next feed.)

E-12:15pm
A-12:30pm
S-12:55pm

E-3:40pm
A-3:45pm
S-4:25pm

E-6:40pm
This is where I lose it. Her next feed should be at 9:40 & I like bottle before bed. But if I do a catnap 7:25 & it's 45 minutes she would wake at 8:10 but it's an hour 35 minutes until she should feed but isn't that too much awake time? But if I make her bedtime an hour after waking it would be 7:40 roughly & that's too early to eat again. Would that be the better option & just forget about feeding before bed?

I'd do the CN, give her a bottle and then in bed for 9pm (assuming you're trying for a 9-9 day?).  Doesn't matter if the gap between the last two bottles is shorter, or if she takes a bit less at the last feed :)
