Way too many....
« on: August 03, 2014, 22:53:21 pm »
Hello ladies

well it seems we are back to terrible night wakings after some decent time and im not really sure why.
This is what worked for us recently

7.25wu
11.20nap-12.40.       3.55A
4.30-5.                       3.50A
8.40BT.                      3.40A

It is a long day but it somehow worked and it got rid of the 40 minute waking after BT

And now we get a 2-3 hour stretch at the beginning of the night and then up every 2.5 hours and unsettled in early morning hours.
And i cant work out if he is OT or UT.
When i feed him in the night often he doesn't settle straight away and rolls around for a bit. Ruled out discomfort as doesn't make any difference when i medicate.

Any suggestions welcome here

Btw he is just over 9 months.

Are you waking him up from his naps?  Only asking because both are short and I've always liked to have one nap of 1 hr 30 if possible.

Hi Sarah

I wake him from his second nap and the first one is always 1.20 min, so two sleep cycles, he wakes happy from his first nap.

He cried on and off, so its not hysterical crying and it is taking ages to resettle him, in fact he cries more when i try and resettle him.
He did respond to shush pat since he was little but now i just use the sleepy phrase and rub his back a little.
