baby sleeps after his 7 am feed.
« on: July 30, 2014, 12:47:16 pm »
When I read all the different routines they suggest a baby is awake for and 1 hour and 30 minutes. Is that always normal? My LB is nearly 4 months and always wants to sleep after his first feed of the day. This mucks up EASY routine from the word go. If I keep him up he gets really cranky and miserable. He often awakes around 5 am and can hear him chatter and play around in his cot. The he drifts off and wakes up at 6 am then at 6:30am then feed him between 6:45 and 7am. Please can someone advise me on how I can do the EASY routine?

Just start from 7! The routines are only really samples to help you get the gist, and all babies are different.

How old is he? He may need more or less awake time (including his feeding time) depending on his age and temperament.
