Hi Kelly,
Thank you so much for getting back to me, I'm new at the forum thing, joined this one out of pure desperation!
His days use to be so predictable, it went like this:
Wake @ 8
Porridge @ 8.15
Bottle @ 10
Nap @ 11 - anything between 1.3 - 2.3 hours
Lunch @ 12.30 / 1.30 - depending on wake time
Bottle @ 14.30 / 15.30 - depending on lunch time
Nap @ 16 - anything between 1 - 2 hours
Dinner @ 17.30 / 18.00 latest
Sleep @ 20.30 / 20.45 latest
This is what his days use to look like, now everything is out of whack. Last night for example he was awake at 2.35 and again at 5, at 5 he only fell asleep again at 6 then woke again at 7.15 at which time I was so exhausted trying to put him to sleep that we just got up and started our day.
He always wakes up happy, sometimes I don't even hear him, I only find out he is awake when I was the camera in his room to see him happily playing about in his cot (so who knows what time he actually woke). I put him down, he jumps right up again, eventually I just sit next to the cot with a firm hand on his chest until he (sometimes after am hour) calms down and falls asleep again. I never engage in any conversation with him and I try to keep things as calm and low key as possible.
He use to have a dummy only for sleeping (I took it away about two weeks ago) last night out of desperation I tried giving the dummy back, he just spat it out and continued blabbing.
O and he sleeps with white noise, has been since he was born.
So in general he is such a happy baby, hardly ever cries, I would say he was an angel baby that has now turned into who knows what? Due to his disrupted nights, he is cranky in the day (me too if I'm honest).
Thanks again for replying, it really means the world to me :-)
(Sorry, I am new to this so I don't know most of the abbreviations used)
