Rubbing eyes when eating?

Could this be a sign if allergy? At first I thought it was tiredness but it's def not as yesterday it was right after a 2 hr nap and she was fine as soon as I took her out the high chair? Was quite severe eye rubbing yesterday when trying chicken for the first time and I got quite a fright!

Any thoughts? She's 6 months old

My lo did that for months when she first went onto solids. Then she just suddenly stopped. I never did work out why she did it?

Have you tried chicken since? I would and see if she does it again. I wouldn't have thought it an allergy if there are no other symptoms.
