Just seen this!  You have made progress already :)

For us it worked when we continuously did really late bt, then DS started to crash and shifted his wake up time. (well too late for school but oh well.)

Keep going, you will always get the odd one, but I think once they go past age 4 or so you can shift the WU, whereas as toddlers sometimes you just can't  >:(. I think because the naps complicate it too much at that point.

I know I've got to stay firm with it and not go back to ebt after an ew. Its good to k ow it gets easier ish after 4 :-p

Asleep for 8 again today- he did ask if I would sleep next to him with a very cheeky grin. I said no and asked him to tell me why I was saying no. He knew full well!

Oh dear, hugs for the EW :(

I'd still stick at it. One later morning shows it can happen, he just needs long enough at this to make it happen as habit.

Hugs on the early start.

I'd agree, hang in there. If it helps at all, the first couple of days in Canada DS was waking at 3am. We kept him going all day until he nearly fell asleep in his icecream  :o

A few days later he was up until very late and then started sleeping in.

Goodness Helen! How did YOU cope with him being up so early?!

It's I need to stick it out. No point giving up now its not like he was waking much later before anyway!

Nope, just hold firm. It's his job to regulate his sleep at this age, not yours!
