Only had a short nap in car today .. EBT?
« on: August 29, 2014, 17:24:08 pm »
My 14 month old usually takes an 1.5 nap but today we were out and I coukdbt put him down for nap in crib. So he fell askeep in car on the way Home about 45 later than usual about 30-45 mins. Do I just put him to bed same time or do EBT? He was up tiday at 645 for about 15 min fell back and woke again 715 so I was thinking 7 for bed. He's very inconsistent with when he gets up for the day and then that changes naps and bedtime every night.

Hi there, sorry we obviously didn't catch this in time, what did you go for in the end?

By the time my DD was this age I tried not to worry so much if she was a little short on day sleep. I might have started the BT routine slightly early in case she was ready and to prevent a sudden tip over into OT but other than that she can often self regulate by sleeping in a bit in the morning or having a longer nap the next day.
