Fine tuning the sleep of my 12w baby
« on: October 15, 2014, 17:23:31 pm »
Hi, this is my first post, hope I do it right and don't forget to mention important info.

My son is 12w, he is really easy to deal with, I could even guess he is a textbook baby. He has been on 3h EASY since we got home.

He has a well established routine to sleep, and he sleeps really easy. The problem is he sleeps diminishing hours. For instance.

6pm bottle
6:30 bath
7:00/7:30 he is already asleep.

He then wakes up around 12am for night feed, then 3am, then 5am again. That's to say he goes 5hs, 3hs and then 2hs. He has a 120/150ml bottle, and usually falls right back asleep.

I need help to space out his wakes after the night feed.
Any suggestions are very welcome!

Hey Hun, this could be an EAS routine thing or just that he is hungry really. Does he settle to sleep on his own?
Around this she both my boys started to wake more frequently. There is a huge GS at 3 and 4 mths. Some LOs seem to be hungrier yk? - you can try tanking up your lo a bit more at bt to see if it helps, or offer a DF before you go to sleep (often around 10 ish) and see if he then sleeps a chunk following this.

How is sleep during the day?
