14 weeks NF
« on: October 12, 2014, 08:21:48 am »
Hi there,
After some advice about my 14week old.

She is on 3hr easy 7,10,1,4,7 & DF. She is waking anywhere between 2-4 and I've been feeding her, this would be fine but she only takes 2/3oz then doesn't drink her 7am bottle?

Do you think she needs the NF? Doesn't seem like she's hungry for it maybe using it to get back to sleep?
How shall I drop it if she doesn't?

Thanks x

Have you tried to resettle without a feed?

My LO was almost STTN (12h) at this age but around 14-15wo together with a 4mo growth spurt he went back to one NF per night (I did a DF). So it is possible that she doesn't need it know, but she may start to need it soon:). So I would try to resettle without feed, but wouldn't try to hard. If she is not very hungry, she will probably go back to sleep quickly. If she needs this feed, she probably will be happy to get to the morning.

You can also feed her at 7:30/8am instead of 7am wakeup to make sure she is more hungry and takes a good feed!
