8.5mo sleep transition?

If she has been very clingy, it could be SA or teething. Do you see any other signs of those two things?

It is something to keep an eye on though, as she's getting quite a lot of daytime sleep for a 9mo old. If it's been happening for a week or more, I might think about keeping daytime sleep to 3hr max, so 2 x 1.5hr naps. You may have to push BT out a little too or not let her nap past a certain time in the afternoon... what time does she usually wake?

Can she replug her own dummy?

Hello, hmm..last night wasn't great. She woke at midnight, I put dummy back in, back to sleep for half an hour, woke again and this happened twice more. All clustered together. She wasn't crying just grumbling (maybe mantra cry?). I went in first 3 times then husband the 4th who said she just wanted to hold his finger. It didn't take her all that long to go back to sleep and ater that clustered waking she slept sounding until a delivery man woke her at 0720.
I don't think SA as she doesn't mind being in a room alone whilst I pop into another room etc. might well be teething as during her clingy day she cried after biting into a crumpet that had a bit of a crust. She has one visible tooth already.
The clingy days seem to have pasted  and she seems to be back to normal in that regard.
Strange that she can sleep so soundly until the cluster wake up and then go back to sleep so well again.
Yes she can replug her dummy and I have heard her to it in the night but when she wakes, as above, she wants us to do it.

Sounds like she may need a bit more A time, less daytime sleep then.  You can gently push just one A time at a time or add a bit to all of them and reduce daytime sleep as well, keeping to a 12-13hr day.
