Quick question...broken sleep in nap, reduce A times?
« on: December 04, 2014, 12:58:59 pm »
Hi All

Really quick question, if my LO sleeps for say 50 minutes, I leave her to see if she goes back to sleep by herself and this takes 10 minutes and then she sleeps for another 30 minutes, do I count this as a good nap and repeat the same A time? Or does the wakeful period of 10 minutes mean we only look at the nap as being 30 minutes, and therefore reduce the next A time?

Many Thanks!

If she's back to sleep that quickly I'd count that as a pretty good nap and do a full, or near-full A time afterwards.  I'm not sure how old she is but you may need to do just a few mins less than usual.  Watch for cues :)
