2 months old refusing the boob
« on: December 05, 2014, 19:28:37 pm »
My dd2 has been a very good eater since the beginning. But for the last 3 weeks I have been dealing with my back hernia (LOTS of pain) and I can only feed her while laying down. On top of that she has got a cold now and is caughing terribly and chocking while drinking. On Wednesday and yesterday I was in so much pain I was pumping and my MIL was giving it in a bottle to my dd. And today she is totally refusing the boob! I don't know why... Is there anything I can do? Will this pass once her cold is over?

It could well be the bottle and the cold. Check out our faq on nursing strikes for advice on how to deal with it.  Is my baby weaning or is it a nursing strike?
