Night wakings- new and just started
« on: December 26, 2014, 04:11:25 am »
Hi all,
Baby girl is 5 months old and has just started to wake at night time. She was a great sleeper and the last few nights she wakes before her dream feed which is anywhere between 10-11pm. She goes to bed anywhere between 6:30/7pm.  She is getting get on average anywhere from 760-1000ml a day after the dream feed. Last night she woke up at 3am wanting to start the day, so I left her in the crib hoping she would go back to sleep ... After about 30-40 mins I went in reassured her and went back to bed.... She was up an hour later again. What gives !?

Any suggestions? I know she is teething but she was not quite that bad that day. I ended up giving her a 4 ounce bottle and she only took 2 ... So she was not hungry

Could you please post your day in an EASY format? It sounds like she is a bit UT and perhaps would need more A time.
She would be starting now the transition from 3 to 2 naps a day, there is some information about it here: All about the 3-2 transition- 5/6 months
I am not saying she is already there, but she might need to start the transition which would mean increasing her A times, till they would be long enough for her to be on just 2 naps.
