Yep he will sleep in the pram for 2 hours easy, i guess i dont want to get into the havit of going for a walk for every nap. Although a few wakings last night he actually settled failry easy.

Tonight at BT had lots of screaming and took 30 mins to settle, generally OT is easy to settle, i cant imagine he is UT, as only has 1.30 min nap today. I will ride it out for a couple of days and see where we are closer to the end of the week when im at home with him again.

im used to dealing with terrible nights, but this terrible nap is something new

Could it be a bit of SA? x

Zoe you are spot on about SA and he generally settles better with my husband. os sleeps with me now, well he starts his night in his cot and then when he wakes he joins me in bed. Its not ideal but we are having major work done in the house and at the moment we are all squeezed into 2 bedrooms, so i know that the disruption isnt helping the whole situation and he is a sensitive little soul. It just seemed that we were finally getti g a longer stretch of sleep with the 1 nap, but that just went out of the window and i think what threw me the most is the waking after 20 mi ites for his nap, this is something new altogether.

Hi Ladies, we are back, we technically never been away. Teeth are out, but daytime nap is pretty terrible.

He is very difficult ti settle after 5A and generally gives 30-35 munute nap and need to be resettled. I have no idea whats happening here really.  He really doesnt have any sleepy signs as in he needs to have a very rough night to be wanting to sleep after 3 hours A in tje morning, then he is failry obvious.

Generally our day is
7wu
12nap
7BT

If its a 2 hour nap, he will only do fhat if asleep next to me or in the pram, he will have a slightly later BT.

He hasnt been a great sleeper since he was born, but recently it has been bery difficult or maybe i finding it more difficult because im pregnant and just generally more tired myself.

How do i get this nugget to nap in the cot well?!

Hugs hun sorry I missed your last post. I can't remember anything specific at that age apart from teeth but we did have a rough sleep phase from 15-18 months, lots of NW but I put it down to teeth....sorry.

Are 30 min naps generally OT for u, they were for us. Have you tried a slightly earlier nap just in case? I ignored sleep signs at this age and just went with A times as sleep signs were unreliable.

If you get a 30 min nap is that it for the day or do u give a later CN? x

30 mins are generally oT, mist of the time i manage to resettle him, whether it is on the bed with me or chuck him in the pram and off for a walk, the chances if me resettling him in the cot are pretty minimal.

Today he seemed tired after 4.30A, as we were out he slept in the pram, but inly for an hour, so i gave him a 20 min nap this pm.

So today looked like

7
11.20nap-12.20
4-4.20
7.50BT

Low and behold he woke 50 mins later.
