I aye a dish last night made with lots of heavy cream...I want even thinking about it until I thought he'd been really fussy last night and today. Is there any way to help ease his pain? We have gas drops but they don't seem to help  :-\ I don't have milk stored to be able to give him bottles and pump and dump...I'm drinking even more water to help flush it from my system...although I'm don't know if that helps (my answer to most of life's issues is drink more water lol!!). Formula causes similar issues....

We've had pineapple recommended for dd who can't have dairy. It's for breaking up the phlem though. It works really well for her, but I don't know about for gas.

Is he dairy intolerant then? If he has tummy pain from reacting to the dairy then an anti histamine like Piriton can help. It'll take a few weeks for it to completely leave your system

Piriton would help in true milk allergy, but not cows milk protein intolerance. It can obviously be very had to tell which your LO has when BFF because the milks proteins are so very much 'diluted'.

In the UK piriton is under medical advice only before age 1 (not to say it isn't safe, but it should be prescribed by a GP). Obviously prescribing guidelines differ the world over though.

Try drinking mint tea maybe?  He might get some of the benefit through your milk.
