I've read everything and I can't find this anywhere.  My routine is going great, but sometimes my LO doesn't nap for the full 2 hours.  So...if I were to feed him when he woke up (after a 1.5 hour nap), he's only gone 2.5 hours between feedings.  And what if he naps only an hour?  Do I just feed him at 2 hours or do I wait till the 3 hour point regardless of how long "S" lasts?  My LO is 10 weeks, btw.  EBF, but taking a bottle when I go back to work on Monday (I'll be pumping at work).

Thanks so much for the help!

Personally I would feed after the nap if baby seemed to be giving hunger cues or if not, have a bit of A time and see how they are...mine would def let me know when they want food. Average A times for this age would fall around 1 hr 20 min or so, possibly he needs a little more A time pre nap to make a 3 hr routine work. This link shows average A times:  Average A times- BOOKMARK ME!

Yes definitely agree if showing hunger cues at wake up then feed :). Though be careful when short naps hit ::) not to fall into the trap of feeding at every wake up otherwise you'll be feeding every 1.5-2h.  I think 3h is a good thing to aim for but clearly respond to LOs cues if hungry a little sooner.  If you have EASAEAS pattern that's fine :)
