Not wanting morning feed
« on: January 26, 2015, 03:11:39 am »
Ds 4 months old eats at roughly 1 and 4/5 at night. He gets up at 7 and will only nurse a tiny bit. I hate pushing it back another hour because we are in full swing getting ready for school mode and do t want it to disrupt the amount of his next feed. What do other moms do?  Give him a small feed, or feed him "off schedule" when he shows he is hungry?

Could you try nursing a half hour later?

Sometimes he will but it usually needs to be a full hour wait to get a regular feed

Makes sense that he isn't hungry on WU due to the feed at 5/6 am. I would just feed an hour later so that he is getting a full feed
