Hi

We have just started the easy routine and she feeds every 3hrs can stay awake for 1.5hr and is then tired.. She will go down for a nap but wake up after 20 min. I try and pay her and sh her back to sleep sometimes for about 20min but she just screams. She end ups so over tired and I feel like I'm constantly trying to get her to sleep.. She sleeps on a night time for about 4.5hrs..
Please help!

You can take a look at this- Short naps - why does my baby wake after 20 minutes?

20 minute naps are usually indicative of OT. I remember DD at that age would get over tired doing absolutely nothing! I had to always make sure to wind down the stimulation and switch to calm, relaxing activities before the nap. So maybe taking a look at how she is spending the A time would help.

Hey will give it ago.. Feel like I'm constantly trying to get her to sleep in the day so she doesn't end up over tired which always happens.. Between 6-7pm she screams every night as she is so tired it makes bed time so hard.

Hiya, I agree with pp that she could be OT. At this age, there can be a need to start working towards a longer EASY, so staying awake for longer before sleep. I realise this could seem counterintuitive but UT can lead to OT over the course of a day or longer.

Have you seen this?

Time to Transition - 3hr, 3.5hr or 4hr EASY

Do you think she could need some longer A time?

If you would like we could take a look at your EASY if you could post it for us.
