What do you Think?
« on: February 18, 2015, 17:39:08 pm »
I have 4mo old twins. Our EASY looks like this

Wake 6:45/7am
E 7:30 (8-9oz)
A 6:45-8:50/9
S 9-11
E11:30
A11-1/1:15
S1-3/3:15
E3:30
A3-5/5:15
S 5-5:45/6
E 7:30
In bed 8pm

So my Problem is both have been sttn since they were 2.5-3mo old. Now Boy only is waking after midnight almost every hour or so. He is fine with naps their A time is between 2hr and 2hr 20min. Naps are good with an occasional hiccup every week or so but back on track the next day. I have no idea what could be causing this. They do not take a paci, they are swaddled but are not getting out of their swaddles. Any ideas or thoughts welcome tia:)

Lovely routine. Great job, mama! And with 2, no less.

2 thoughts to run by you
1. It is best to aim for a 12 to 12.5 hr day. So if you keep WU at 6.45/7, then BT should be between 6.30 & 7.30 max.

2. There is a growth spurt at 3-4 months. At this point, babies who previously STTN, can start waking once more for food. Do you think that it might be as simple as he is hungry? What is he like when he wakes? How do you settle him?

Hi thanks for the reply. You were right it was hunger, I upped the last two bottles from 8/8.5oz to 10oz and he was only awake once but resettled himself!! His sister only eats 28-30oz and he was eating 32-34oz so I thought it was enough but we must be in a growth spurt bc he had close to 39oz yesterday :o which is kind of crazy to me!
