EBF 4 mos and I am still feeding her every 2.5 hours
« on: March 14, 2015, 18:24:58 pm »
She becomes fussy after 2.5 hours so I feed her...Her wight is 80% percentile and I always worry that she is not getting enough milk. Should I start to extend the "E" to 4 hours time? Any other mom has the same challenge as I do?

How long is she awake before she goes down for a nap. Just wondering as a 4mo would typically be asleep 2.5hrs after a feed so is she having very short naps or is her A time super long?

I'm in the same boat to would love to know how to solve this one.

I've just started trying to get her to go 3-3.5hrs between feeds and just keep distracting her or giving her a little bit of water in a sippy cup. It's hard though. She's used to on demand feeding.

Izimom, I don't know where you are but in the UK at least it is recommended that EBF babies don't need water before 6mo when they start solids. Do you have your own thread? Feel free to start one and we can have a look at your routine
