How late in the day and for how long does/did your lo nap? Did it make BT later?

Hasn't napped in a while now.....but nap got as late as 2ish for 45-1h max for a 7pm BT (we never put down later than that, though when nap was needing to go she would take a long time to go to sleep).  When we were having lots of no nap days, the nap days were just a 20 min catnap in the car around 3pm to hold off too much OT, with normal BT.

He did take a 1 hr 15 min nap yesterday from 1230-145 and I put him in around 720 he was up until almost 8! And he's waking a bit earlier before 7. It's still a longer day for him but I'm just happy he's not protesting the nap or bedtime!

So today he was up just before 7 (which is earlier than normal) and he did a nap from 1230-130 but when I try to put him to bed like last night at 720 he was wide awake standing up calling me (no crying) and didn't fall asleep until 8! Isn't that a long A time before bed?

It is, but then again I didn't find A times particularly useful at that age, or rather, I didn't really think about them.  Nap time was when it was and bedtime was set also give or take 15 mins.  If it wasn't working (and wasn't developmental silliness as far as I could tell) something needed changing in the routine.  Do you think it was OT second wind perhaps?  Or if not, I'd be back to thinking push the nap later  :-\

Could've been ot second wind but I'm sticking to the 730 into crib I'm not going to push it later and I think waking at 7 taking a 1 hour nap from 1230-130 that bedtme at 730 is late enough? I'm afraid to push that nap again because of the mess it created with him not napping at all! Lol
