19 months awake at 4.30
« on: March 24, 2015, 12:19:30 pm »
DD has been waking at 4.30 for the last 3 weeks. Since last September her wake up time has been about 5.30, which was hard enough, but 4.30 I can't cope with!
She goes to bed about 7.30-8 with no problem, and has blackout blinds in the room. When she woke this morning at 4.20 I went and lay next to her for half an hour trying to soothe her back to sleep. I just patted her back, and said it's night time. No luck, and after 40 mins of trying that I brought her into bed with us, and she did sleep for another 30 mins at 5.30.
She's at nursery Mon - Fri and has one nap from 1 -2.5 hours. The length of her daytime nap seems to make no difference to when she wakes up
I don't know what to do to stop her waking up so early. She needs extra sleep as she is cranky as anything before 6. She has no illnesses or allergies.
