Settling in at CM's
« on: April 22, 2015, 08:20:35 am »
Just a quick question. DD2 is 8 months old she will be going to the same CM as her sister once she is 12 months old. The thing is the CM wants her to come down to settle in but this means that DD1 wont be able to go as she wont have the space for both until August. Also the CM is going into hospital so will be taking 8 weeks off (June / July) so I kind of question the point of settling in now when she wont be back there for another 2 months. Do you think it is worth it or just wait till the week before she is going to start?

I would wait, personally. She won't benefit from it with that long a gap, IMO - and your older DD probably needs her time more.

That was my thought, I think the CM just likes the idea of having a baby again.

I'd wait too, they don't remember one day to the next at this age - plus she'll be a different baby really by the time she starts :)
