Weaning from swaddle
« on: May 22, 2015, 20:24:51 pm »
Hi,

When do I wean my LO from the swaddle? He is 19 weeks. I know that it can become a problem but I'm curious what typically happens when you know they are ready to wean.

Thanks in advance!

I believe the advice is to wean the swaddle when your LO starts rolling as it's not safe after that. I think I started weaning it at around 4-5 months though, (just one arm out first, then the other), cos if I remember correctly he was starting to outgrow it and I didn't want to buy more, already having a load of sleeping bags from my daughter. Otherwise I think you can carry on really until your LO is starting to roll.
