5:30 wake ups for 3 weeks
« on: May 23, 2015, 12:03:30 pm »
Help!! My son has always been a good sleeper going to bed at 6:30pm and sleeping til 6:30/6:45 am! Since having a tummy bug 4 weeks ago he has woken like clockwork at 5:30 every morning! He still has 1 nap a day but this hasn't got longer since the early wake ups?? He's having only 10 1/2 hours sleep a night!! He is 20 months old - any help greatly appreciated

Going to move this over to Sleeping for Toddlers since your LO is over 12 months, but do you think your LO could be OT if it started with an illness? Have you tried an earlier nap?

Could you post your whole routine including what time you are offering nap and how long it is?  I would suspect OT too if this started with a tummy bug but could equally be a sleep needs drop and/or a need for a later nap x
