Homemade ketchup recipes

Hi
Does anyone have any good recipes for homemade ketchup?  My DD will often be more inclined to eat things if I give her ketchup but my DH is worried about the amount of sugar in it so I was thinking that I might try to make my own, lower sugar, version.

Maybe one of these?

I've also (in the past not so much  now) just slackened off tomato puree with olive oil and white wine vinegar for a really fast small serving of ketchup-like dip.

I made one that was good. I think this was it. http://gnowfglins.com/2010/06/16/lacto-fermented-homemade-ketchup/  I toned down the spices and the sugar. It was a bit different than commercial ketchup but good.
