Another day with no nap and crying hysterical at bedtime. He was up at 745 today so I put him to bed at 645. He normally never cries at bedtime.

Don't worry too much - it is understandable that he will be a bit OT on no map days. You can't make him nap, right?

I feel like he gets into this loop of not napping and then sleeping late until 745 am and then there's less of a chance for nap. But I hate to wake him since he's making up for the no naps and I've tried a later nap but it doesn't work as he has a second wind and really doesn't show signs of tiredness until 4pm. Is 11 hours an average day for a no napper? I'm sure he would've went down even earlier lol

It's on the low side but not ridiculously low.

How long of a day should be be able to handle with no nap? He's doing a 13 hour day on nap days that are 1.5.

Well, again, they are all so different. But a 13hr day on nap days sounds very normal.

Today is a nap day!! And we leave for vacation for a week tomorrow. I can't imagine that he'll ever nap there and by the time we return home he will probably be used to not napping :(

It's no bad thing hun if he's really ready, I've always found the nap a pita in all honesty, the day is far easier when you can just go out.

^^ yeh, this. And once it's gone, that's it, no more nap stress! Transitions are hard, but it's better once you're out the other side.

That's good way to look at it! Just missing that little break mid day :) I'm sure a 12 hour day will be nice too! Thanks again everyone!
