Evenings and afternoons
« on: June 23, 2015, 11:06:33 am »
My little one is 6 weeks old. She's doing well on EASY - although we let her lead the way a little as she's so young. Generally she's a brill baby but she refuses her afternoon sleep at about 5 and come her bedtime (after her bath) she's not happy at all! We are not doing cluster feeds as she just won't eat when she's not hungry and we are not doing a dream feed yet.

Any suggestions for how to deal with the afternoon and evening fussiness would be fab! Thanks.

I think this is just a common part of the first few weeks. Could you try for the nap in a sling?

That's good to know. :) we tried her in a sling last night with success as, come bedtime, she went down well but didn't sleep for a long time... But she stayed in the crib without crying which was much better as she was do much calmer.
