Weaning off dream feed when nursing
« on: July 20, 2015, 05:52:50 am »
K. So I know that when you wean your child off of the dream feed you need to introduce more milk gradually to the other feeds (for example, add 1oz to the morning meal and take one ounce out of the dream feed). But how do you do that when you are nursing?

How old is your LO?

I just gradually reduced the amount of time I DFd for, for a bit, and then stopped CT.  I'm sure she just made up the extra calories during the day.

Have you seen this?
"How do I implement/drop the dreamfeed?"
it suggests another way too

Almost 7 months, technically, and I haven't seen that article. I will read it. Oh, and they have been on solids for about two months now.
