Awful night last night..up 9,10,11, 12pm the. 2.45-5am, 5.30, 6.30 then awake  :(
Today he won't nap for longer than half an hour and he has had three cat naps so far and has woken cranky and miserable from each one, I just had to be back to sleep after last one as he was crying so much and I think OT. Not good. I don't know what's going on??

Oh (((hugs))) you must really be exhausted :( Ok, I asked around and it was suggested that you might like to start a new thread, perhaps on NWs since that seems to be the main issue, although from what you've just said, the days haven't been so wonderful recently either :-\ The advantage of starting a new thread is that it'll get more fresh eyes on it, do a brief summary of where things are now (including age, recent EASY, reflux, ST status, etc) and give it a title which will be more eye catching to those who've perhaps been through just what you're going through now, rather than two months ago - what do you think? I know if you start it in NWs there'll be people looking out for it already, and of course I'll continue to follow along but perhaps let someone else take the lead, as they may have a more helpful approach. Antie - you can also look out for it there ;)

To me it does sound like discomfort, and be aware that if teething is going on, it can cause reflux flare ups :-\ So you may even want to post on CRC if you feel that's more appropriate, entirely up to you :-*

Thanks I was actually thinking about starting a new thread too as this one has gone on toooo long and as you say the NWs are the sole issue. Day naps have been great today so think yesterday was a blip. Chatted to my HV today and she suggested to use the lactulose for two weeks to get on top of his constipation which had been getting better until recently as that might help.  Thanks again for all your help and advice I have really appreciated it and if you can follow a new thread which I will try and start tomorrow that would be great  :D

Hi I thought so but it turned out he was coming down with a virus and that was what was upsetting him. He has been on lactulose for a week now and is going pretty much every day which is good although his efforts are smaller than I would expect.  I posted on the night wakings forum but haven't found it much help as yet. Although I think they may have a point about LO waking out of hunger so bought some formula to mix with his porridge etc to get him a few more calories in during the day.

Ok glad the lactulose is working :) Sorry the NWs board hasn't been so helpful as yet, I know that many of us have been/are finding it hard to get on here over the Christmas period, so perhaps you'll get more advice on there once we're all back into our usual routines again :-* I'll try to pop over there but just back from travelling myself so lots of catch up on...
