5 month old doesn't like being put down!
« on: August 25, 2015, 22:24:04 pm »
i finally had some success with naps for 3 straight days last week where LO went to nap and sleep all on her own with me sitting by her. But that only lasted 3 days and now she won't nap on her own or sleep unless it is after a middle of the night feed. She has been extra clingy even when I just put her down during the day to go to the bathroom or even heat up my lunch! How do you even try to get her to nap again on her own when she always wants to be carried by mommy? She has even been waking up more often at night at random times to breastfeed and sometimes after an hour! I feel like it might be separation anxiety of some sort but how do you get around it? Wake times are usually 1 1/2-2 hours depending on how long her last nap was which on average are only 30 mins. Help!

This should help hun. Separation Anxiety

Mainly the part about what you can do during the day to help. Do you want to post your routine to see if anything stands out? Xx
