3 yo early waking.
« on: September 07, 2015, 08:51:42 am »
DD has been sleeping 7-7.30- 7-8 for a good 9 months, 2 weeks ago we had a few days of 6am WU but soon went back to 12hrs ONS again. The last 5 days she's been waking at 5-5.30 and can't go back off. She seemed happy until yesterday and today and now she's just so tired and grumpy. We have been really busy the last few weeks and I'm wondering if she's overtired from all the activities. She's not napped for a year and won't even if you offer her one. She starts preschool next Monday and I know she's going to find it very difficult because she's very sensitive and has always been with just me. I'd like to get her back on track with her sleep ASAP otherwise she's going to be a lot more emotional starting nursery. Any ideas?

If you moved BT slightly earlier for a few days help? Also does she still rest? What about in days she wakes super early or days she's super grumpy have her read in her room or watch a movie in the dark to help relax a little?
