learning to walk and sleep disruption
« on: October 24, 2015, 12:31:50 pm »
Hi,

My ds is almost one and is starting to take his first steps. I am helping him practice as much as I can during the day but I think it is causing problems at nap time. He tends to settle pretty easily but is waking mid nap and moving about a fair amount before resettling. I have pushed his nap back a bit as I thought he might be slightly ut but haven't really seen much improvement. It may be that I need to move the nap back further and I will do this if it doesn't improve but wanted to know if it could possibly be because of his current development?

From my experience there always seems to be sleep distrubances when there are milestones going on. What time does he wake up and then go back down for nap?
