Frequent Night Wakings
« on: October 29, 2015, 20:50:06 pm »
My LO is 7.5 mos old. We dealt with some health issues until he was 3+ mos old where he needed to eat every 3 hours round the clock so it became a fairly engrained pattern. Now, he does pretty well with daytime sleep ~ consistently getting in 2 naps of around 1.5/2 hrs and waivers on a catnap in the evening.
However, nighttime is draining me. He is waking every 1.5/2 hrs and seems to get in a full feed, including a DF at around 10/10:30 PM. Our schedule is definitely unpredictable during the day and bedtime has also be inconsistent. I'm aware that this affects his night time sleep, but what can I do to help him get to sleeping through the night . . . my version is 11-12 uninterrupted hours with a late night DF. I feel he is capable and would have such a better demeanor during the day if he reached this level of restorative sleep.

Thank You!

I'm so sorry no one has responded yet.  Can you write down your EASY for us?  He's likely ready to drop the CN now.  Many babies do at around 6 months.  How long is his A time?  Is he on three solids meals a day?  If you can give me this information, I can better help you.
