Treavel-8 hour time difference
« on: November 18, 2015, 17:11:18 pm »
Hello,

We're traveling to the UK from Canada at the end of the month with our one year old. I'd love to hear your experiences dealing with an 8 hour time difference. Any tips greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Many thanks,

Laura

My sister did lots of UK/Australia travel when her children were babies/toddlers & she found that they adjusted better than she did. My Dad who travelled lots in my childhood always said "1 day for ever hour time zone" to adjust to the time difference & it's always easier when traveling East to West than it is West to East. My Sister found that with a baby it was "1 sleep period" per hour time zone difference" so if your toddler is on 1 nap then they will probably adjust to the time difference faster than you as an adult do.
