Can 2 year sleep regression show up late?
« on: December 12, 2015, 21:05:19 pm »
Wondering if 2 and four months is likely to surface the "missed" 2 year sleep regression?  Can it show up that late?
With God all things are possible!

That's the one thing about children they aren't often following the book or the Calendar to the date... hiccups can happen almost any time 'around' an age. Sometimes children don't go through a "stage" at all sometimes they have a different one, that isn't in a book - because they are unique LOL

Is it possible your LO has the birthday and half birthday disturbances earlier?  We notice a change in behaviour with DS as he approaches the half birthday, might be the same for your DS?  So possibly not the 2yo 'regression' but perhaps the 2.5?

Or perhaps a developmental leap, language leap which is disturbing sleep?

Either way, as Kate said they run on their own times.
