Soother prop help
« on: January 07, 2016, 02:12:49 am »
Any suggestions on weaning little one from soother? She is 17 months and is very attached to her "sue-sue"... I thought maybe putting a small hole in it and gradually making it bigger?

I have a friend who did similar - kept snipping pieces off. But in saying that I am not sure if it is a safe thing to do yk? In case they bite a piece off. Any particular reason for weaning now? Maybe try limiting it to bedtime/naptime only? Personally I chose to wait until they had more understanding of why we were getting rid of it - about age 2.5/3. DD3 is a very sucky kid lol but she will leave her soother in her room for the most part if we ask her to.
