2-1 nap transition at 10.5 months
« on: January 20, 2016, 18:27:01 pm »
I feel my son is ready for a 2-1 nap transition. He started to refuse afternoon naps early in the new year. He was also fighting bedtime at this time and bedtime has always been easy prior to this. He sleeps from 7pm-630 am with a nw at 4 or 5 am. Lately, he has been having just one nap and is handleing his A time well. But his one nap is now only around 1 hr to 1hr45 minutes. Before christmas he was having two 1h45 minute naps. I have heard that with one nap, the naps should last 2-3 hours? Is this just a transition we are going though? Thoughts? I had saw an excerpt from Tracy on here a few weeks ago but I can't seem to find it again with all the treads. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks xo

Can you post his nap and wake times (before the shift and now)? I can take a look and see what might help.

There are some good links under FAQs.
