7 months old lots of NW
« on: March 05, 2016, 10:11:47 am »
Hello!
My baby just turned 7 months and keeps on waking up several times at night.
He doesn't use a pacifier, even i tried hard offering him different types.
I keep breastfeeding him.
He has never sleep longer than four hours, not at night or during day naps.
He used to wake up at night every 2-3 hours, but he started teething and it got worse.
I usually give him cereals for dinner with a spoon and later the breast before falling asleep at 9pm in his crib. He sleeps until 11.30 and then starts waking up every 1.30 h!
The baby shares room with his brother 2,5 years old, so as i am afraid the baby wakes up his brother when crying, i take him to my bed.
I have tried the PU/PD at 9:00 and 11:30 pm and i got him to sleep on his own but he keeps on waking up later. Then I am too tired to try again so i offer the breast in my bed so i can get some rest.
I have tried to offer him a big bottle of milk at 11:30, but he woke up again at 2.00am...
I don't think he is hungry at 2am, he just want my breast as a pacifier.
My husband owns a restaurant and comes back home tired and late at night, so cannot help me much.
I started working again one month ago so i am desperate and need some rest!!!
I need some help please!

(((hugs))) That must be exhausting.

Can you post your daytime routine in the following format? Sometimes a change in nap times and lengths can make a big difference in night sleep.

Ex:
WU: 7
E: BF at 7, solids at 730
S: 10-11
E:
etc.
DD - August 2012
DS - November 2014
