How did they resolve? Did it just happen naturally?  Should I post on night wakings board?

Yes it did. I made up my mind not to obsess about sleep like I did with DD (nearly drove myself round the bend with her) and just tried to wait things out. It was tough and some nights when he was in the middle of a long NW, I was sure I had done something wrong but within a few days things would be better again. I can't remember if I said this already, but I just fed DS for pretty much all NWs because it was easier. I was just starting to think about sleep training (at 16 months) and he started STTN on his own.

That said, feel free to post in NWs if you want to some other ideas.

Thanks for that. I don't know how I would sleep train as he isn't actually crying! Just babbling, playing and kicking the bars of his cot really loudly!

There's really not much you can do when they do that except find a place to sleep where you can't hear the chatter so you can rest :)

I have thought about doing that but my husband is worried about when he does eventually wriggle into a corner or get his legs stuck in the bars (even in a sleeping bag!) that we won't hear him to move him back again. This does usually happen after he has been playing quite a while.

Can you take turns so there's someone close by to listen and someone can get a good night's sleep?
