Okay we have to do this now (ahhhh!)...she rolled back to tummy in the MOTN and got stuck last night.  So what I'm wondering is, do I have to do both naps and nights together? I'm wondering because she's napping great (finally!) and I realllly don't want to mess that up, and I'm thinking if we have bad nights she might need some good naps to catch her up yk? Maybe I can start with 1 arm out at night for a bit first? Also I can watch her closely on the monitor during the day to make sure she's safe.

I think you can do nights and naps separately if that works better :)

Things went shockingly well, night and day compared to the last time we tried which was only 2 weeks ago.  We still had lots of NW but we were having those anyway with the swaddle so I don't think it is related.  She actually looked really comfortable and rolled over and slept on her side and her arm wasn't flailing around.  So, because it went so well I decided to do 1 arm out for nap this morning and she's been down for almost 1.5hrs now, so no issue there.  Will keep 1 arm out for a few more days then try both (though she seems to be able to easily escape that other arm now, so some of the night she was doing both out).

Just to say...Cheekyrascal website sell sleeping bags which start and stage 1, progressing to stage 2 where you can remove one arm at a time to aid weaning from swaddling...I'm not explaining this very well am I?!?! Sorry! Take a look st their website and it'll become clearer!!! Honest!!!! My LO is on stage 2 and she LOVES it!!

We just moved to 2 arms out now and she's doing fantastic, in a few days I think she'll be ready for it to be gone altogether :). She's so cute sleeping...she looks like a star fish lol
