4 wk old sleeps alll day awake all night

My 4 week old has a great schedule all day she sleeps 1.2-2 hours, wakes up to eat & play for an hr or so, sometimes nurses before nap again and then is back to sleep. Sometimes her naps are more like 2.5-3 hours but I try to wake her to eat if its more than 3 hrs since last nursing.
At night she Is Generally happy but very awake! Timing varies, last night was from 130-6am! I'm able to nap when she sleeps during the day but I'd looove to gget more sleep at night!  Esp those longer stretches....
Also she is usually more fidgety in her sleep at night and gets knto.much deeper sleeps during the day.

Probably not what you want to hear, but that's pretty normal for a 4 week old. She's still sorting out her days and nights. I would make sure that she gets as much light as possible when she's awake during they day. In the night, try to keep things as dark and unstimulating as you possibly can. I found a swing was very helpful when my DS was wide awake in the night.

Do you want to post your naps and awake times for tomorrow and I can see if there's any changes there that might help?

Thanks for replying,  I'm not sure why I never saw this! I basically just embraced the awakeness....decided to enjoy my time w my baby cuz it's just a short stage in the grand scheme of things and around 6/7 weeks her sleep reached a much better pattern!
