7 mo missed a bottle today, should i wake and feed her?
« on: May 07, 2016, 20:33:16 pm »
Hi all, quick question,

We had to take a 6 hour drive today, and as a consequence the 3 pm bottle wasn't given until 4:40 (she was asleep in the car, not upset).

This meant that her bedtime bottle didn't go well. She wasn't hungry and only took 3 ounces (instead of 8). She also had no dinner (usually 2 tablespoons of porridge).

So, should I feed her at half ten to try to make up the feed, or leave her sleep in the hopes that she doesn't wake until morning? She hasn't had a dream feed in 2 months.

Just wondering what would work best

I'd just leave and feed if she wakes. You might risk waking her completely if she isn't used to a DF iyswim?

I'd leave it, she'll probably make up for it the next day, may wake up a little earlier but then again may not.

Thanks so much, we've had a bad few days with colds so things have been up in the air. I left her and ended up feeding her at 4 am, but then she slept until 6:30, which is pretty good around here!
