26 mths old scared of napping
« on: June 03, 2016, 02:20:15 am »
We moved our 26 mths old to a bed and week ago and all has been going great- he loves it. Well he did until today at nap time when he was crying as of scared of going down for a nap. He's been sleeping fabulouslyfor months- 1.5 hrs from 1pm-2.30 (I wake or otherwise his WU in the morning gets too early). He sleeps 7- between 6 and 7 every night. Last night he cried on and off through the night but today at nap time he seemed genuinely scared sobbing. Has not been in otherwise bad humour all day though I know he has at least 2 molars only half cut . Would have thought I'd have seen problems before now if it was teething related. He did eventually settle for his nap but it took until 1.45 and several cuddles from me. He just wanted me to stay with him and keep singing twinkle twinkle (part of our bedtime/nap time routine). Could this be related to the move to big bed?
