Thanks, that's helpful! Well yesterday he cried a lot for the last nap and took nearly an hour to settle!! could it be because he's not used to taking this nap in his bed, he was always having it in the carseat or on us until a couple of days ago. So he slept from 5.40 till 6.10 and then cried a bit at bt as well but went down at 7.10 and slept through till 10pm, first time this week!

Today it's going well so far: wu at 6.55, nap at 7.55 (still only an hour A time), cried a little before falling asleep but settled quickly with the dummy. He stirred a bit after 30 mins or so, but did not even cry (first time ever!) and he's still sleeping after an hour and 20 mins now. So I will see how the other naps go today and if still good, keep the same A time for now? He might be able to do a bit more as the days goes, not sure though... I'm just enjoying this for now!  ;D

Yep, A time will likely increase to around 1.5hr by 13 weeks, but enjoy the long naps for now. Sleeping decent naps is a developmental thing, it will come and it seems he's getting there, enjoy!

Update: today for the first time he went down like a dream for his last nap too! result!! hopefully it'll be easier from now on.
Also, his A time is still pretty much 1h or 1h10 at the most, but he's sleeping between 1h30 and 2hrs so I guess it's ok. Today I put him down a bit later and he fell asleep within 5 mins! so the A time didn't really change.
