45 minute nap - under tired?
« on: June 20, 2016, 10:31:29 am »
I know that this has been said a million times, but it's dropped out of my head.  45 minutes naps happen due to under tiredness or overtiredness?  I'm seeing a few of those lately and want to nip that problem in the bud!

xx

It can also be because of over tiredness. Can you post more information? What does the routine look like? That will help see if there is a pattern.

I think she's mid growth spurt and recovering from a failing the first step of milk protein reintroduction into her diet. She's normally very good with her sleeping.

Her EASY looks like this (give or take a half hour, we are in the process of moving from 3 to 2 naps.

WU - 5:45/ 6am
Sit with mummy until 7am

E - 7am - milk
E - 8:30 - Breakfast
S - 9:30/ 9:45

A - 11am
E - 11am - milk
E - 12:30 - Food
S - 1:30

A - 2:15
Stayed awake until 2:40
E - 3:30pm - milk
E - 5pm - Dinner

5:30 - bath
6:15 - Milk
Story
Bed by 6:30/ 6:45

DF - 10:30

Occasionally it's the morning nap that goes wrong but she sleeps again.

Thanks for helping!x

I'm not sure how old she is but I'm guessing around 6 months if she's in the 3-2?  If so I would say that UT is more likely the reason (I'm assuming she sleeps independently?) and I'd try pushing that afternoon nap a touch later x
