Overtired or not tired enough?? Help!
« on: July 11, 2016, 11:10:58 am »
Hi there

My 11 month old is taking a long time to settle to sleep in the evenings and i am just so confused as to whether she is over tired.. Over the last week she has been hyper at bed time and quite naughty. This is her routine:

Wake and bottle: 6.30 am
Breakfast:  9 am
Nap: 930 - 11 am
Bottle: 1130 am
Lunch: 130 pm
Nap: 3 - 4 pm
Dinner: 5 pm
Bath: 615 pm
Bottle and bed: 7-7.30 pm
Dream feed: 10 pm

Also she has started waking at like 5 am.
Should i put her to bed earlier or later? Or should i change something during the day?

Any help would be much appreciated
Xxx

You're probably starting to run into the beginnings of the 2-1 nap transition - not time for one nap straight away!  But you may need to start adjusting things to move in that direction.  Have a read through this link which explains the common scenarios and then let us know if you have more questions: 10/ 11mo sleep gone wonky? Read this first! (2-1 switch)

Thank you for that! It was a very helpful read!
I will start to slowly transition her. I also seems like she may be over tired at night, hence the odd behaviour at bed time

Let us know if you need any help and bear in mind it can often take a few months before the 2-1 is finished x
