Creations, yes he's always been low percentile... But his pediatrician said he's ok? I've gone by his judgement. Technically he stopped losing weight so he saw that as an improvement and hes been thriving and reaching milestones- he said to keep on and was very encouraging. He said he's remained in HIS growth curve.
I would trust that then and try not to worry about weight gain.

IMO if he is enjoying some solids in addition to his milk then it's no bad thing at all.  It's additional to milk rather than replacing it...mine was just like that, wouldn't take a drop more milk but would eat lots of solids and really enjoy it.

When you say weaning you mean replacing breastfeeding with bottle of formula?
DS 1: Textbook baby, February 2012. Kind and loving big brother to...
DS 2: Textbook (with a little touchy) baby, April 2016. My smallest and dearest bear.

The honey is due to the risk of bacteria that immature guts cannot fight off.

I believe even in the US you can give cows milk in food can't you? The reason not to give cows milk as a drink is so that it doesn't take away from breast milk (or formula). Cows milk is not a complete food like breast milk so it wouldn't give the nutrition a baby needs. If you choose to start weaning the breast at 12mo  (although the World Health Organisation recommends continuing until "2yo and beyond as long as mum and baby want to") the feeds should mainly be replaced by a variety of solid food not all cows milk. You can give cows milk as a drink if you want to but you shouldn't give it in the quantities you would give breastmilk as it contains too much of some nutrients and not enough of others for a human as it's obviously designed for baby cows.

Creations,

He ENJOOOYS solids haha! ;) we've continued with them and he's done great. It's hard not to stress the weight issue when I feel it is me.. Well, actually, he's tongue tie. I've posted on here a few times for help about our situations but.. It's ok. I've played the cards I'm dealt yk?

Yes weaning as in, formula. I'm considering it after he seemed super hungry one day and I decided to top off with formula.. I have never seen him so happy and satisfied after a meal. No fussing :(

It's a very personal decision and a hard one to make.
